Girl's Own Paper
The Girl's Own Paper was a weekly paper that was bound into annuals running from October through the following September (hence an annual is listed as, for example, 1881-1882, except for the very first volume, which ran from January-September 1880). Most annuals consisted of over 800 pages; some, however, also included the special Christmas and/or summer issues.

The Strand
Each volume of The Strand consisted of six monthly issues (e.g., January-June, July-December), and ran an average of about 620 pages.

The Strand, Vol. I: January-June 1891
The Strand, Vol. II: July-December 1891 (the first "Holmes" volume!)

Gentleman's Magazine
At present we only have one article from Gentleman's Magazine, on archaeological excavations at Wroxeter. We'll add a table of contents when we post more from this issue.
